I started the day at the Trailing Yew which is one of three lodging Houses on Monhegan Island, Maine
- it is a bit of a throw back to the 60s with a live and let live attitude!
I set up and they started to hang out the wash to dry in the island air - which is without equal!
Some workers showed up as well as some seagulls! The mood changed quickly as did the laundry line…
I hope the “sense” of the place comes through….
