I’ve gone by this #HarborTours wooden statue for a number of years and saw so many young passersby that I thought it might be a suitable subject for a painting. In the background is #Sealevel restaurant with its #outdoordining.. The wooden statue stands so proud in #MarketSquare in #Newburyport that I thought it deserved to be captured. The young girls are poking it to see if it is in fact real. Like most things in life it’s a little too stiff and proud. Hope you like it. Oil on Linen, 11 x 14”
