I felt it would be meaningful to paint a religious scene during this holiday season. Having grown up, going to the Immaculate Conception parochial school, and then, over many years, attending the Immaculate Conception Church services. I wanted to express my feelings about the interior of that church and the spirituality of the “place”- I hope these feelings come through the painting. Like most things spiritual, words fail us….
