I was very excited to wake up to a surprise snowfall December 26, 2021. Christmas Day had been a wonderful day in our household and I desperately did not want the season to end. I had this vision of a Christmas village painting and thought that the 1835 Union Church along Point Shore Amesbury might be a suitable subject. Sketched out the idea and headed out with my easel to set up that evening. I hoped a horse and sleigh would convey the feeling I was experiencing and then thought “why not add my three daughters as carolers “! If you truly believe… the season does not have to end!
