Giclee Print - Maple Crest Farm West Newbury

I went back to finish the painting this past Saturday morning and spent some quality time with John as he started a tractor, a cultivator, set up some displays and helped a few customers. He had sold out the weekend before. It’s a special scene as it sits above the reservoir with rolling fields and much activity with shaking trees, hauling trees, cutting trees, etc.

After I had worked on the painting for a couple of hours John came over with a much appreciated hot chocolate stating “you work a horse … you got a feed a horse”. I really don’t know much about working on a farm but I do really appreciate the hard honest work involved. Hats off to the Elwells.. Happy holidays to all! Oil Unframed
