For some time I have been hoping to paint the rushing waters of the Pow Wow River as is flows through the Millyard Park in Amesbury. My daughter Elizabeth and husband Chris with dog Roo often walk this path. After the recent torrential rains I had some time to attempt it so I set up on an autumn Saturday morning but it was a unique challenge with the walkway, the flickering light and the powerful water itself.
