The 1797 wooden frigate made famous as "Old Ironsides" in the War of 1812. A national icon for more than 200 years, the Constitution has had a long and illustrious career. Inspired by a visit to the Constitution Museum, this watercolor depicts the frigate docked in Boston with a small ‘re-enactment’ by The 1812 Marines!
