“Swings, Chairs, Pathway and Joy”

Watercolor, 15 x 22”, Richard Burke Jones. There is a tremendous amount of activity on Newburyport’s new elevated rail trail near the embayment area behind the firehouse. Walkers and joggers, strollers and bikers, sitters and swingers coexisting with smiles of joy! I tried to capture that late in the day feeling of light and atmosphere.
