It was a beautiful May day however unseasonably cold with the wind from the north. The flowering trees and the rich red colors needed to be put down on canvas. This corner of High Street and Jefferson Street, Newburyport, MA is only a block away from where I grew up and there are no less than 5 Cherry Blossom trees sharing the corner with a marvelous home built many years ago. It’s a busy location with Dads and young bicyclists and Moms backpacking with their young daughters. At this stage of life, I have a genuine appreciation of these moments in our lives. Carpe Diem.
