View East along the rail Trail

Set up on the rail trail near Joppa park Newburyport, MA to catch the afternoon light. I brought my watercolors out since I had been using them on Monhegan Island Me over the last two weeks. Watercolors allow a spontaneous and light-filled feeling to come through … I hope.
There is something special about this view of our town … maybe it is knowing the residents have a very special view daily… maybe we are all on our way to Plum Island…maybe there is the daily view of egrets and swans…but I do know many residents love this walk…and that is good..
