First evening painting this scene the Bella Vita yacht was straight ahead. Something told me to sketch it in right away - sure enough the next night it was gone…(after the crash!). And then Inga came by from Germany with many a story followed by Tuna Fisherman Bamford exclaiming -“you got my boat!” after returning from 30 miles out. An ever-changing scene late in the day with the light, the clouds and the tides…oil, 12x28”, Richard Burke Jones unframed.....
